"I was born in a small town in southeastern New York called Port Chester. I ventured west in the early 1970ís and planted my feet in Phoenix, Arizona. It was here where I got my first exposure to the sound of the Native American flute, and it was the start of a long and fulfilling relationship. For years I enjoyed just listening to itsí beautiful mellow tone. Then I took the next step and started playing. A friend, after hearing me play, asked if I had made the flute. I hadnít but that sparked the idea. I had been a woodworker by trade for almost 25 years, and it was a natural fit. With some trial and error and the help of some established flute makers, I began making my own flutes. I have since honed my skills and now craft a line of flutes that I feel are exceptional in both craftsmanship and quality of tone.
